How Does VASER Liposuction Eliminate Double Chin?
VASER Liposuction is an advanced fat removal and body contouring procedure that is minimally invasive and usually done under local anesthetic.
By injecting a tumescent fluid into the targeted area, it can decrease the swelling and bruising as it splits the fat cells from connective tissue. The Process
At Hasan Surgery, the procedure will be with minimal discomfort as it we perform it under conscious sedation or anesthesia. During the surgical process, a maximum of 3 small incisions are made—one below the chin, and one in each ear. The procedure usually takes about 45 minutes.
Afterwards, the plastic surgeon will ask you to wear a chin support for 72 hours. After the first 3 days of post-treatment, you are recommended to wear elastic face garments for a minimum of 12 hours a day for 3 weeks. The small scars will heal quickly and may or may not require a stitch. Expect to experience a minimal bruising which usually fades within a few days.
A follow up is required either after 1 day, 1 week, 6 weeks, or 6 months, as needed. Treatments such as external ultrasound and light massage may also be beneficial, 2 to 3 weeks after your VASER Liposuction procedure.
